Hibernation {Janice Reyes Photography – Austin, TX}

I’m still here! The temperature has been really cold (for Austin) and that means I just want cuddle up under 3,000 blankets and sleep. I just need to figure out how to talk my kids into hibernating. We have been bundling up and playing outside when it isn’t raining. I’m weak – I just can’t do cold and rainy. I know some moms are still taking their kids out to play, but I’m just not THAT awesome.

I don’t want to clean up mud.

^^My dog is a toy hoarder. He was determined to keep that ring and stuffed deer from E.

Flying {Personal Snapshots}

Nothing like a perfect day – blue skies, light breeze, mostly sunny, partly cloudy, happy children, and long naps.

Offspring #1 wasn’t to excited about the whole flying thing.

However, offspring #2 is fearless. Seriously.  He is 12 months old and capable of climbing out of his crib.

I love my backyard… minus the scorpions.  The birds like that dead tree – so for now it stays.

Sprinkler Fun {Personal Photography}

I know it gets hot in Texas. I know last summer it was 100+ degrees for a bajillion days.  I know this is just the beginning of it getting really hot.  However, it isn’t humid and I don’t mind the heat.

Here is E hanging on to his “dada”.  Yum for bright colors and cute babies.

B just playing in the sprinkler.  These pictures are like the definition of the simple joys in life.  It was hot and putting his face in the sprinkler fixed the problem.

I love this next picture.  I love my backyard. I love the fact my brother cut the grass.  I love the sunny bright sky. I love the water. I love my life in Austin.  I really love my son.

This kid puts everything in his mouth.

How awesome is it that my boys get to explore so many things together?  The 13 month age gap is equally crazy and awesome.  They are already so close and do so much together!
